Week #2 - Michael Kim

Due to increased risk during the pandemic, cancer patients who still receive radiation therapy must maintain social distancing protocols and wear masks at all times while inside the University of Pennslyvania Hospital. 

After seven weeks of treatment, this is Soo Kim's last radiation treatment. Although she no longer needs to visit the hospital five times a week, Kim will still need to take medications for the foreseeable future. 

Kim's last radiation therapy session was marked by her 25th anniversary with her husband Harry Kim.

Although her radiation therapy prevents Kim from working during the week, she still finds time to review her patient notes during the time she is supposed to spend recovering.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, sanitation supplies such as hand sanitizer have been in high demand as people attempt to protect themselves from the virus. 

Although many stores have been closed in the wake of the epidemic, "essential businesses" are able to open and encourage shoppers to adopt proper social distancing protocols that attempt to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
