Week #4 -- Joy Saha

I dragged my framed stand mirror outside because I wanted to try a viral photo trend I saw on TikTok. I placed the mirror in a spot where there was good lighting and a beautiful natural backdrop. I then used my camera to take photos of my reflection on the mirror.

Out of all the photos I took with my mirror, this was the best one. I didn't realize how difficult this TikTok photo trend would be and I really dislike how awkward I look and the fact that my clunky camera can be seen in the final image. However, I really like the bright blue sky and the leaves in the background.

This self-portrait was taken during a lone 6:30 a.m. walk around my neighborhood on Saturday. I brought both my camera and tripod along with me and I decided to take some photos at different spots around my neighborhood. This photo was taken behind a small yellow apartment across my street.

This is another photo that I took during my lone 6:30 a.m. walk around my neighborhood. This main road is located right outside of the entrance to my community. I've never seen this road so empty and it remained that way for a solid 10 minutes.

This was my first attempt at making churros con chocolate and they came out amazing. My only mistake was that I didn't eat them right after they were done frying so they all tasted chewy and cold rather than crispy and warm.
