Week #4- Kaleigh Collett
My dad, James Collett, has channeled his nervous energy into stocking up on supplies for our family. No matter how many times we tell him we have enough toilet paper, he proudly brings home a package from Target every time he goes. We have told him a local charity will greatly appreciate all of our back stock when this is over. 4/22/2020
My family's favorite Saturday tradition of quarantine has become lunch at Five Guys. Because all restaurants are closed, and we wouldn't want the food to get cold, we stay in the parking lot and eat our cheeseburgers there. 4/25/2020
Sadie Collett sits in the lid of a puzzle box, that she pushed over from its standing position where we could see the full picture as we built the puzzle. She insisted her comfort was more important than our puzzle. 4/25/2020
Dylan Carr picks his finger nails, while Morgan Pailthorp entertains herself on her phone. These neighbors spend time together outside to prevent the spread. 4/26/20
I moved out of my college apartment on Monday. The chaos of this photo perfectly describes the wave of emotions I felt packing up my college home, to move back to my childhood home for the indefinite future. College Park, MD 4/27/2020
Four years of college life, packed into two plastic carts, on its way to our SUV. 4/27/202
One thing I have enjoyed learning during quarantine is how to cook. I am the least cooking-incline person in the world, but learning how to make simple meals with my Mom, Wendy Collett, has helped me feel more powerful in all of this weakness. 4/21/20
Wendy and Jim Collett sit in the living room together catching up on the days news on their phones. Wendy finds peace looking at COVID-19 stats and keeping informed, while Jim hates hearing about the pandemic and looks at work emails. The TV is tuned to a neutral car show they both enjoy. 4/22/20
