Week #5 COVID pics James Gordon

Pandemic or not, Kathleen Gordon always sits down to watch the five o'clock news with Mimi the dog comfortably by her side in their Highland Park, Illinois home.

Whenever Mimi the dog is taken on a drive around the north-Chicago suburbs, she often dozes off in her car seat after a long ride of looking out for other dogs in the area. 

Ethan Gordon cuddles with Mimi the dog during a visit home. Ethan lives in an apartment in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago where he's studying to become a doctor but enjoys visiting his old Highland Park, Illinois, home to escape the confines of the city during the quarantine.

After the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the start of the MLB season, being able to watch the season-opener of the KBO (Korea Baseball Organization) at home in Highland Park, Illinois, brings some normalcy into my life as a baseball fan. With all American sports being postponed for the foreseeable future, a live baseball game on ESPN offers a hopeful breath of fresh air.
